Position Overview

This role is a contract opportunity with a leading financial organization. The team is seeking skilled JavaScript Engineers who can work on-site regularly.

Insight Global is in search of proficient JavaScript Engineers to join a prominent financial services firm. This recruitment effort is a response to the need for additional resources due to delays in essential projects across various engineering teams. As a member of the development team, you will be expected to take on multiple responsibilities, including writing code, participating in testing, conducting code reviews, and providing support. The ideal candidates will possess 3-5 years of experience in JavaScript development and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. On-site presence is required five days a week. This position starts with a contract period, with a strong likelihood of extensions based on individual performance and project requirements. It presents a valuable opportunity to engage in significant projects at a well-respected financial institution, potentially paving the way for long-term career advancement in the finance sector.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient frontend programming skills in JavaScript, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
  • Extensive experience with web development frameworks, particularly Angular or React.
  • Familiarity with Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Knowledge of distributed storage systems, including DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, especially utilizing Git.
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
