Role Description

We are seeking a seasoned and motivated Product Manager to join the Technology and Architecture team within ICS Digital. In this role, you will oversee the development of newly launched SharePoint websites and Microsoft applications catering to various departments and customers. The focus will be on evolving the current SharePoint MVP into a comprehensive solution, which includes migrating content from outdated websites, implementing governance standards, and utilizing AI and machine learning to enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, content managers, and stakeholders to align business and technical requirements into a cohesive product vision and roadmap.
  • Innovation: Investigate new releases in the Microsoft roadmap and leverage emerging features for the organization. Assess potential integrations with SharePoint solutions.
  • Product Ownership: Manage and prioritize the product backlog, crafting user stories from customer needs, maintenance updates, accessibility requirements, and new releases.
  • User-Centric Design: Understand user needs and establish feedback mechanisms with stakeholders. Measure the success of the roadmap using KPIs and OKRs, while advocating for the team and showcasing achievements.
  • Vision Communication: Clearly define and communicate the product vision, backlog, and roadmap to key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager/Owner in a Technology Dev/Ops environment, with a solid understanding of the agile software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in project and program management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to cultivate collaborative and productive relationships.
  • Ability to influence and navigate conflicting priorities among stakeholders.
  • Proficient in presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Desirable Skills:

  • Certification in AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner.
  • Experience managing product backlogs for Microsoft products.
  • Experience in other digital domains, such as Delivery Management, is welcomed.
