Commercial Gas Engineer Job Description

CV Library is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to strengthen our client's team in the North East.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, with overtime available. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial heating and system control wiring, boilers, pressurisation units, pumps, control valves, and other equipment.
  • Gas boiler replacements and heating system upgrades.
  • Hot water replacements and vented to unvented system upgrades.
  • Attending planned and unplanned urgent call-outs.
  • Fault finding and repair work to boilers, heating wiring, systems, and controls.

To be successful in this position, you will be a Gas Safe Registered Engineer with 3 years of commercial gas experience, possessing the following skills, traits, and experience:

Requirements:
  • CSCS.
  • Driving license - required.
  • Ability to work in non-domestic properties only.
  • Start and complete urgent jobs with minimal notice.
  • Willingness to work overtime, when required, to complete urgent jobs.

Benefits include a competitive salary of £38,000 to £44,000 per annum, a company van, 30 days holiday (extra for time in service), and full training including MEWP's and PASMA. Progression opportunities are available.
