Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled School Cleaner to join our team at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school to ensure pupils are able to learn in a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for pupils and staff
  • Ensure all areas of the school are clean and tidy, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the cleaning team to achieve shared goals
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team

Requirements:

Some experience is necessary for the role, but all successful candidates will undergo a full induction and training programme.
