We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urology Consultant to join our team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and supportive team of urology consultants, working together to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a combined cross-site on-call rota, supporting the departments of Urology at Exeter, North and South Devon.
  • Contribute to a full urology specific middle grade rota, working closely with our team of urology and cancer nurse specialists, surgical care practitioners, and physician associates.
  • Provide expert care to patients, including day case ureteroscopy, paediatric surgery, TURBT, and bladder outlet surgery, including bipolar TURP, REZUM, Urolift and HoLEP.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement new services and treatments, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in urology, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Ability to participate in a combined cross-site on-call rota and contribute to a full urology specific middle grade rota.
  • Strong knowledge of urology and cancer care, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices.
