Financial Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Director in producing all aspects of financial management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, as well as reporting variances. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts, prepare and publish timely monthly management accounts, and prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

You will also be responsible for developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. If you have a strong background in financial accounting and are looking for a challenging role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly management accounts
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies

Requirements:

  • ACCA or ACA qualified
  • Experience in a financial accounting role
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
