Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 drivers to join our team on a temporary basis to support our permanent team. As a refuse driver, you will be responsible for collecting and recycling waste from residential areas, working in a fast-paced environment and ensuring the safety and security of our vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate HGV vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Collect and transport refuse and recyclables from designated areas, following established routes and schedules.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure mechanical operation and roadworthiness.
  • Assist loaders with collecting and recycling when not driving.
  • Interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner, resolving queries and complaints promptly.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines, ensuring safe working practices.
Requirements
  • Valid HGV Class 2 driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Completed CPC card.
  • Digi-Tacho card.
  • Passport or birth certificate with National Insurance Number proof.
