Eka Finance is seeking a talented quantitative researcher to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a quantitative analyst, you will engage with complex datasets and contribute significantly to alpha generation and proprietary research initiatives. Initially, this role will be on a contractual basis for a duration of 5-6 months, with the potential for a full-time position based on performance and mutual fit.
Qualifications:
Candidates should be in the concluding stages of their PhD or have recently completed their doctoral studies in fields such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
A strong enthusiasm for mathematics and problem-solving is essential.
Familiarity with Linux systems, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++, is required.
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality, peer-reviewed research.
Effective communication skills are necessary to present concepts clearly to traders and stakeholders.
Prior experience in the field is not a prerequisite.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills are crucial.
