As an Occupational Therapy Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing effective and efficient service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management for the Community Occupational Therapy team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Effectively triage referrals and allocate cases to team members or appropriate services, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Offer regular supervision and appraisal to team members, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct quality audits of routine team member work and participate in targeted audit initiatives as needed, upholding high standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with Senior Managers and the Head of Service to contribute to strategic planning and implementation of service improvements.
  • Oversee the evaluation and decision-making process for non-standard equipment, major adaptations, and minor requests within designated budget parameters, escalating complex cases as required.
