The PK Health & Social Care Partnership offers a vital delivery, installation, and retrieval service across the region, providing essential equipment tailored to the needs of individuals with physical disabilities and various health conditions.
Do you excel in high-pressure situations, adept at prioritizing tasks and solving problems?
If so, the equipment supplied plays a crucial role in facilitating hospital discharges and preventing unnecessary admissions, thereby enhancing the independence of service users in their home settings while aiding their recovery and improving safety. The range of equipment includes daily living aids for personal care, mobility solutions, and therapeutic devices.
This position presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our essential services.
Your responsibilities will include delivering, installing, and retrieving a variety of medical equipment and daily living aids.
Adhering to scheduled appointments is critical, as you will be expected to meet clients within predetermined timeframes throughout your workday.
Can you effectively communicate to foster relationships with clients and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure high-quality service delivery?
If so, prior experience in a customer-facing role is essential, along with the ability to engage positively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals.
The role is primarily based out of our service location, with significant mobile work within the community, either independently or as part of a team.
Are you capable of identifying and managing potential risks to yourself and others by following established guidelines and seeking assistance when necessary?
This position involves manual handling, and you must be physically capable of meeting the demands of the role.
The ability to work autonomously while adhering to approved policies and procedures is vital, alongside the opportunity to collaborate with a well-established team. Strong teamwork skills and a customer-centric approach are highly valued.
Familiarity with Occupational Therapy and Community Nursing equipment is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be provided regarding the range of equipment utilized in community settings.
