Senior Solicitor - Adult Social Care

Are you passionate about safeguarding vulnerable adults? We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Solicitor to join our team at Venn Group.

About the Role

As a Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality advice to clients on social care matters on behalf of the Council. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing detailed and accurate advice on the Council's responsibilities under various legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Health and Social Care Act 2008.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and support across a range of areas, including ordinary residence, Data Protection, and Freedom of Information.
  • Deliver advice on safeguarding, provider failure, section 117 aftercare, and 16–17-year-old Deprivation of liberty cases.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality advice and support.
Requirements

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Solicitor who is passionate about protecting and defending vulnerable members of the community. You will have significant experience in providing legal advice on Adult Social Care and be committed to making a positive impact.
