About the Role

Netherhall Learning Campus, a school dedicated to providing exceptional support for students with Complex Communication and Interaction (CCI), ASC, and ADHD needs, is seeking a dedicated and resourceful individual to join their team as an Education Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new venture, as the school embarks on a journey to provide the best possible support, care, and guidance for their students. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the new facilities, resources, and curriculum, while supporting students and families along the way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students to make good academic and social progress in the ARP and Mainstream lessons
  • Develop and implement strategies for learning, intervention, and good communication with all stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and resources
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have good communication and language skills, a knowledge of the complexities of need highlighted within young people's Education, Health Care Plan (EHCP), and be resilient and compliant to their statutory and moral obligations as a trusted adult.

They will also be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the student's personal needs, strategies for learning, and good communication with all stakeholders.
