An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Information Security Manager to establish a new security division within a reputable organization.
Company Overview
Are you an Infrastructure and Network Engineer who has transitioned into the realm of Cyber Security? If so, this role may be ideal for you to advance your career as the leader of a newly formed security division within a well-respected company.
Role Summary
In this position, you will leverage your technical expertise to collaborate with the IT Director in developing this new division. In return, you will be offered a competitive salary in the range of £60k to £70k (potentially more for the right candidate), along with attractive benefits and opportunities for ongoing professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
What you will contribute to the role:
- A background in Infrastructure & Network Engineering is advantageous.
- A proven history of designing and executing cyber security protocols and policies.
- Monitoring and assessing security vulnerabilities and threats.
- Capability to achieve ISO27001 compliance.
- Preferred security certifications (CEH, CISSP, CISM, etc.).
- Familiarity with security tools and firewalls (Endpoint, SIEM, etc.) is highly desirable.
Job Benefits
This role is newly created, and there is a preference for the Security Manager to be present on-site four days a week, with one day available for remote work. The office location is easily accessible.
