Job Title: Account Executive - Commercial Relationship Manager

Join Biffa Waste Services Limited as an Account Executive - Commercial Relationship Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong customer service skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to work in partnership with internal departments, customers, and other organizations.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to manage and develop commercial relationships with our major clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth, while meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular customer reviews and present reports using Power BI, covering areas such as service success, landfill diversion, weights, and financials.
  • Assist depots and customer services in resolving site-related issues, including Health and Safety concerns, container changes, or the introduction of alternative services.
  • Manage customer debt in line with contractual commitments.
  • Negotiate, influence, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver long-term benefits for all parties.
  • Address Quality and Logistics Service (QLS) issues that cause invoice delays or credit production, and resolve payment-related queries.
Requirements:
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Experience of achieving KPIs and SLAs.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
  • Attitude for compliance and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in partnership with internal departments, customers, and other organizations.
  • Solid pragmatic approach to delivering to tight deadlines and targets.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize.
