Forensic Nurse Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Sexual Offence Nurse Examiner. This is a critical role in our multidisciplinary team, providing assessments and evidence that inform legal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform holistic, forensic clinical assessments for children, young people, and adults who experienced sexual assault, with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Interact sensitively, ensuring a trauma-informed approach to care supporting self-referrals along with police referrals.
- Uphold the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality in documentation and evidence handling.
- Co-produce individual management plans tailored to the needs of each client.
- Provide testimony in court, contributing to the integrity of legal proceedings.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development as part of our Novice to Expert programme.
- Lead initiatives, mentor peers, and engage in programmes designed to enhance professional skills and service delivery, including our partners.

We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 per annum starting salary with full training given, rising to £45,000 once certain qualifications and training have been achieved. You will also receive 6 weeks annual leave + flexible working policies and possibility for unlimited unpaid leave for sabbaticals, long holidays etc.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, who is committed to undertaking a comprehensive competency framework. You must have or be willing to work towards master's level study, complete educational courses and work towards being able to provide testimony to court.
Subject to police vetting and 3 years of UK residency, you will be joining a community committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
