Job Title: Head of Product Security

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Product Security to join our team at Leonardo. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust security risk management systems for complex high-integrity electronics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security risk management systems in accordance with customer, regulatory, and legislative expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with UK/NATO Information Assurance standards, procedures, and systems, including HMG Security Policy Framework and ISO security standards.
  • Lead the development of security evaluation techniques and requirements up to High Grade.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify future product security needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Provide training and awareness presentations to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product security implications are considered throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on the latest security standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in developing security risk management systems for complex high-integrity electronics systems.
  • Familiarity with UK/NATO Information Assurance standards, procedures, and systems.
  • Registered NCSC Certified Professional at lead level or equivalent NCSC recognized qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain SC clearance.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Strong background in design implementation of high-integrity complex electronics.
  • Good understanding and experience in delivery and maintenance of products to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of the concept of operations for products and ability to identify functional security risks.
  • Ability to identify and deliver alternate/innovative ways to manage security.
  • Active membership of an external security specialist group or forum.
