We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team at NJR Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for forecasting and sales analysis for given ranges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review historical sales figures and record lessons learned through the season
- Liaise with factories and Quality department to ensure shipment dates are met for ongoing and new lines
- Recognise when issues need to be flagged up with the business to a senior management
- Manage products and report any potential issues to the Manager in a timely manner
- Manage stock to maximise availability, whilst reducing discontinued exposure
- Assist with range planning through Ranking meetings
- Plan initial buys for new lines
- Manage the system to ensure products are set up correctly and factories have sufficient information
- Collate and manage potential discontinued products
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Merchandiser - preferably within retailer/importer environment with knowledge of forecasting and report writing
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel
- Solid communication & articulation skills
- Ability to multi task
