Position Overview – ELECTRICAL QUALIFIED SUPERVISOR

We are currently seeking an Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join our dynamic team on a mobile basis, with a requirement to work from our office one day a week. The successful candidate will oversee compliance aspects of electrical works and ensure all certification is signed off appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits of subcontractor work as necessary through our Projects department.
  • Enhance the electrical services offered to both existing and new clients.
  • Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and minor installations primarily in large residential buildings, commercial offices, and educational institutions.
  • Work predominantly in plant rooms, managing all associated electrical equipment; a solid understanding of heating and ventilation systems is crucial.
  • Carry out routine maintenance on lighting and power systems, including emergency light testing and EICR assessments as required.
  • Support other trades in diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, necessitating strong fault-finding abilities.
  • Assist other trades as needed during various projects.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Annual salary ranging from £48,000 to £55,000.
  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided.
  • Participation in a call-out rota approximately once every seven weeks.
  • Overtime compensation at double time, plus a standby allowance.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Must reside and be authorized to work in the UK.
  • Living within a commutable distance to the service area is essential.
  • A full UK driving license and a clear DBS check are mandatory.
  • 17th/18th edition electrical qualification is required.
  • Level 3 electrical qualification is necessary.
  • Testing and inspection qualifications or equivalent experience are preferred.
  • Previous experience in a QS role is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the Easy Cert certification process is desirable.
