Job Summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a skilled Floor Installation Specialist to join our team in a permanent capacity. This is a full-time role that involves carrying out repairs and maintenance work to social housing properties, achieving high standards of customer care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare subfloors by cleaning, levelling, and smoothing surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of flooring materials.
  • Install a variety of flooring materials, including carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile.
  • Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas, ensuring precise and accurate installation.
  • Apply adhesives, grouts, and other necessary substances to secure flooring materials.
  • Repair and replace damaged sections of flooring, matching existing materials and finishes.
  • Conduct final inspections to ensure the flooring is installed correctly, meets quality standards, and aligns with client expectations.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards is also essential.
