**Job Summary**

Arriva Durham County Limited is seeking an experienced and ambitious individual to join our garage as a PSV Engineer/Mechanic. This role involves maintaining the fleet of PCV vehicles at our depot, working shifts including earlies, lates, and weekends.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform servicing and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of vehicle standards.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
  • Diagnose and resolve vehicle faults, ensuring reliability and maintenance meets Arriva standards.

**Requirements:**

  • Knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with recognized qualifications (e.g., Level 3 NVQ).
  • Ability to work safely and unsupervised to pre-set standards and guidelines.
  • Desirable: electrical knowledge, PCV license, and IRTEC accreditation.
