Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HGV driver to join our team at our Leicester depot. As a refuse lorry driver, you will be responsible for collecting general household waste, recycling, and garden waste from planned routes daily.

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive the HGV 2 rear steer refuse truck vehicle to planned routes daily
* Work with a team of loaders to collect waste and recyclables
* Ensure all waste is collected and disposed of in a safe and environmentally friendly manner

Requirements:

* HGV Class 2 licence
* Digi Card and CPC Card
* Previous rear steer/refuse truck driving experience
* Good knowledge of the local area

Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday
* Start times from 06:00
* Paid a minimum of 7 hours per shift

Hourly Rate:

* £13.96 per hour

Contract Type:

* Temporary
