Our client, a prominent player in the marine manufacturing sector, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to facilitate the efficient acquisition of materials while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the sourcing and ordering of both contractual and non-contractual items utilizing MRP reports and requisitions.
- Maintain and assess supplier information and performance within the MRP system.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience with MRP/ERP/SAP systems for managing and reviewing Purchase Orders.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
