The ideal candidate will be responsible for making multi-drop pallet deliveries to customers in the home counties, with a typical load size of 10-20 deliveries/collections per day.

This is a temporary to permanent role, with a morning shift start time of 08:00am and a Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional Saturdays available.

The hourly rate for this position is £15.00, with a guaranteed 10 hours of work per week.

Overtime is paid at a rate of £22.50 per hour.

The role involves manual handling and requires the use of a tail lift, pallet truck, and sack truck to facilitate deliveries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Carrying out duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Using equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.

Requirements for the role include:

  • HGV Licence and full CPC.
  • Digital tachograph card.
  • At least 6 months of experience due to insurance requirements.
  • Good knowledge of legislation.
  • Enthusiasm and a driven attitude.
  • Physical fitness.
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to requests from management and colleagues.
  • Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
