About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Aberdeen Airport. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the terminal building and surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • External Area Maintenance: Ensure that external areas, including litter picking, bin emptying, and trolley collection, are kept clean and tidy.
  • Terminal Cleaning: Clean and restock the terminal building to the high standards required by our customers, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and emptying bins.
  • Washroom and Toilet Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of washrooms and toilets, including restocking toilet paper and soap.
  • Office and External Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain offices and external areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning windows.
  • Adhere to Company Procedures: Follow company procedures and guidelines for cleaning and maintaining the terminal building and surrounding areas.

Person Specification:

  • Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail and ability to work independently and use own initiative.
  • Reliability and Flexibility: Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and committed to quality.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to a very busy operational environment.
  • Supervision: Able to work without constant supervision and follow management instructions.

Essential Requirements:

  • 5-Year Checkable Referencing History: Provide a 5-year checkable referencing history.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Full Clean Driving Licence: Full clean driving licence would be an advantage.
  • Enhanced Cleaning Experience: Previous cleaning experience would be preferred.
