About the Role
Stillington Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our healthcare services.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide effective day-to-day supervision and leadership to the practice team.
- Act as a central point of contact for the practice team and provide support as needed.
- Develop and implement protocols, systems, and procedures to ensure compliance with CQC regulations.
- Lead the promotion of IT development and communication within the practice and externally.
- Support the practice manager in delivering HR requirements for employees and manage staff.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain required standards.
- Effective handling of complaints and support the practice manager in delivering HR requirements.
- Support the practice manager in delivering QOF targets and have a good knowledge of QOF.
- Support the reporting, recording, and investigation of significant events.
- Undertake specific assigned tasks, project support, or development work as required.
- Provide cover for the practice manager in their absence, including holiday and sickness absence.
Requirements
- Supervisory/leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize, delegate, and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to train and motivate staff and have strong IT skills.
- Knowledge of SystmOne clinical system is desirable.
- Good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
