Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and trailers in accordance with planned schedules.
  • Complete service and inspection records, defect reports, and associated paperwork to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first-time pass.
  • Investigate and rectify vehicle defects, performing ad-hoc repairs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid LGV C&E license (class one) and relevant vocational training.
  • Have knowledge of automotive equipment and testing/troubleshooting equipment.
  • Be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components.
  • Possess experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Hold a valid driving license.
