Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver - Weekend Opportunities

Talstaff Recruitment is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team on a weekend basis. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries to various nationwide locations, including stores, depots, and RDCs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make on-time deliveries to various nationwide locations
  • Work Saturday and Sunday shifts, with long or short shifts available
  • Trunking work and store deliveries
  • Curtain siders and palletised stock, limited use of box trailers & tail lifts
  • Hold a valid C+E UK driving licence
  • Hold a valid UK DCPC and valid UK digicard
  • Work in a professional manner
  • Be prepared to undertake site inductions and training
  • Have excellent geographical knowledge
  • Be able to follow company procedures and keep various people informed of progress or delays
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate: £20.89ph Saturday (including holiday pay) and £25.04ph for Sundays & Bank Holidays (including holiday pay)

  • Full uniform provided after qualifying period
  • Regular ongoing work

Please note that you must have held a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence for over 6 months, have no more than 6 penalty points, and have no CD, DD, TT, IN, or DR codes to be eligible for this role.
