Job Title: Bridge and Highway Engineers

We are seeking experienced Engineers to support our Bridges team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects to ensure coordination of multi-disciplinary inputs.
  • Manage resources effectively and efficiently to meet fluctuating workloads.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on technical issues, including Contractors, local and remote technical and support teams, and political representatives.
  • Conduct design and assessment of highway structures in various materials using Eurocodes and the DMRB.
  • Undertake feasibility studies, design, maintenance, and supervision of bridge-related projects.
  • Lead Inspections of Highway Structures and manage Highway Structures maintenance projects.
  • Have knowledge of highway construction and delivery methods, construction contracts, and Construction Design Management 2015.
Requirements:
  • Excellent working knowledge of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) standards, methods of working, and Specification for Highway Works.
  • Experience in project and resource management with good financial and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
