Agricultural Operations Manager

ISQ Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Poultry Farm Manager (Broilers) for one of our Clients in the Scunthorpe area.
Key Role Objective:In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the farm, aiming for the highest standards in welfare, weight, quality, and cost efficiency of stock produced.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:- Welfare and Biosecurity: Oversee bird welfare, ensuring the highest standards, and adhere to and enforce strict biosecurity measures.
- Farm Management: Manage and monitor farm conditions, including ventilation, heating, feed, water, litter, and lighting.
- Staff Management: Manage and train farm employees, handle administrative tasks, including employee timesheets, and maintain accurate weekly paperwork and records.
- Training and Development: Attend relevant training courses as recommended by the company.
- Staff Management: Proven ability to manage staff and a strong background in stock management.
- Organisation and Prioritisation: Organised and detail-oriented with an ability to prioritise tasks.
- Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
