Job Title: Senior Electro-Magnetic Compatibility Specialist

Key Responsibilities:


  • Define and oversee requirements and acceptance criteria tailored to systems, platforms, or programs.
  • Provide guidance to design teams regarding EMC requirements and considerations.
  • Collaborate with EMC testing engineers to develop and specify testing protocols to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Design and implement strategies to mitigate EMC issues in accordance with established standards.

Required Skills and Experience:


  • BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in designing for EMC compliance.
  • Familiarity with EMC Defence Standards is a plus.

About the EMC Engineering Team:


As part of the Electrical Engineering (EMC) division, you will support the Engineering Manager and/or external specialists in delivering comprehensive support to engineering teams. This includes defining electromagnetic requirements and conducting specialized testing of systems, subsystems, and components to ensure compliance with contractual EMC design standards. Relocation support packages are available for eligible roles.
