Compliance Monitoring Officer Role

Trident Trust is a leading provider of corporate, trust, and fund services to the financial services sector worldwide, with a global footprint spanning multiple regions.

We are seeking a Compliance Monitoring Officer to support the delivery of second-line monitoring reviews across our offices in Trident Guernsey, Jersey, and London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Compliance Monitoring reviews in line with the approved Compliance Monitoring Plan, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and local office policies.
  • Plan and research areas subject to Compliance Monitoring review, including regulatory requirements and local office policies and procedures.
  • Review and complete work papers, documenting the results of Compliance Monitoring testing and providing reports to the Group Compliance Monitoring Manager for quality review.
  • Produce Executive Summary reports of Compliance Monitoring reviews, highlighting issues identified and mitigating actions to be taken by management.
  • Conduct follow-up activities to ensure agreed actions have been implemented, minimizing business risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a compliance-related role within the financial services industry, preferably in Compliance Monitoring.
  • Exposure to and understanding of AML/CTF requirements across Guernsey, Jersey, and UK jurisdictions.
