About the Role:

LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work with a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) on a 1:1 basis, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the student with ASD in a 1:1 setting, providing individualized attention and care.
  • Assist the student with daily tasks and activities, promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the student's learning and development, in line with their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
  • Communicate effectively with the student's teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the student's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and reporting to the SENCO as required.

Requirements:

  • A good team player, able to work with other staff and under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Knowledge of maintaining and updating and reviewing progress of EHCPS.
  • Knowledge of the UK EYFS primary curriculum.
