Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant Manager to join our team in Thame, Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and lead by example to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive sales and improve store performance.
  • Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, inventory, and stock levels to optimize profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform business decisions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills to manage store finances, inventory, and stock levels.
