**Job Title:** Tax Litigation Specialist

**Job Summary:** Jameson Legal is seeking a highly skilled Tax Litigation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Tax Litigation team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation in tax disputes and investigations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide expert advice on tax disputes and investigations, including direct and indirect tax matters, HMRC enquiries, COP8 and COP9 investigations, and claims involving public law challenges by way of judicial review.
  • Represent clients in tax disputes and investigations, including negotiations with HMRC and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to resolve tax disputes and investigations, including settlement negotiations and litigation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and provide guidance to clients on compliance and risk management.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in tax litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including direct and indirect tax matters.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
