Job Summary:
Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager to join our team in the Gas industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects within the Gas division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of subcontractors remotely, on site, and within our office to ensure all work is completed to expected levels of quality, on time, and to cost.
- Monitor progress and performance throughout the project, raising concerns and mitigating risks to deadlines and cost schedules.
- Regularly review progress and approve risk management recommendations to eliminate or significantly mitigate the impact of risks.
- Effectively manage change requests and prevent deviation from the original scope.
- Drive internal and external teams to complete tasks within acceptance criteria.
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are flowed-down and managed in conjunction with the wider SHEQ team.
- Develop and support the current supply chain strategy to ensure access to the strongest network of subcontractors.
- Manage technical, cost, schedule, and contract baselines with good commercial acumen.
- Travel to client sites on a regular basis.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in delivering projects with a Subcontractor/Supplier Network.
- Able to demonstrate experience in Subcontract Management on major Projects.
- Sound understanding of business, finance, and personnel management techniques and the commercial aspects of projects.
- Full, clean UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NEC Contractual awareness and implementation.
