About the Role:
The Asbestos Surveyor Trainee will assist qualified surveyors with various surveys, including asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys. The successful candidate will also be responsible for sampling and re-inspecting asbestos-containing materials. This role requires a strong willingness to learn and work as part of a team in changing environmental situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist qualified surveyors with asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys
- Conduct asbestos sampling and re-inspections
- Learn and apply industry-leading training programs
- Develop skills in using surveying software and floor plan creation
- Work towards obtaining professional qualifications and authorisation to work as a qualified Asbestos Surveyor
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Willingness to work towards the BOHS P402 qualification or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hands-on experience of using IT equipment
- A full UK driving licence
