Interim Senior Finance Professional Opportunity

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Accountant to support a large Cornish services provider during a busy period. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO, Financial Controller, and FP&A Manager to deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the production of detailed cash flow forecasts for internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on daily cash flow expenditures to ensure adequate operational liquidity
  • Assume key responsibility for aged debtor management and identify trends, patterns, and drivers that may affect cash flow strategies
  • Ensure compliant and efficient statutory controls and develop internal controls
  • Perform complex variance analysis

About the Role:

This is a full-time contract with an anticipated duration of at least three months. The role can be operated on a hybrid basis, with up to two days per week remote and the remainder based from the company's headquarters. The successful candidate will be a seasoned finance professional with a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and excellent analytical and communication skills.
