We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior HGV Technician to join our team at Orwell Consulting Ltd. As a Senior HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the service and repair of HGVs, including routine servicing, break tests, and MOT preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of HGVs
  • Prepare HGVs for MOT tests and perform break tests as required
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Implement effective solutions to minimize vehicle downtime
  • Accurately report and record work completed
  • Communicate effectively with drivers regarding defects and inspections
Requirements:
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge and experience in a similar role
  • Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
