About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join our team. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Private Client Financial Planners in providing exceptional financial planning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the provision of financial plans and advice to prospective and existing private clients.
  • Draft financial planning reports to meet and/or exceed agreed activity targets.
  • Develop and maintain technical and market awareness knowledge to provide effective advice.
  • Negotiate and agree contracts with clients on behalf of our Financial Planners.
  • Ensure correct compilation and completion of new applications and/or schemes in accordance with internal/ regulatory standards.
  • Record and maintain information on Intelligent Office to track work and internal records.
  • Filing and storing records and files in accordance with internal standards.
  • Apply internal and/or regulatory standards as specified in procedural manuals and handbooks.
  • Develop and maintain report writing and communication skills for effective client communication.
  • Undertake project-based work when required.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in Financial Services in a financial planning, research, or technical capacity.
  • Diploma qualified.
  • Good listening and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Evidence of technical competence.
  • Adaptable to changing demands and priorities.
  • IT skills including use of laptop/desktop computing, Microsoft Office, and database management.
  • Seeks opportunities to develop own skills.
  • Demonstrates commitment to own development.
  • Able to prioritize workload.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
