Job Title: Well Intervention Engineer

Our client, a major Oil & Gas Operator, is seeking a Well Intervention Engineer to support their platform and subsea operated well interventions across all Company assets. The successful candidate will ensure optimal safety, technical, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Company's well intervention operations, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
  • Participate in risk assessments, HAZOPs, and HAZIDs to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to well intervention challenges, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Conduct technical studies and apply innovative thinking to achieve positive outcomes, proposing changes and innovations with identified risks and benefits.
  • Interface with Assets and other Drilling/Wells entities to ensure well intervention requests are prepared accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor performance, analyze data, and report on well intervention activities.
  • Perform visits and audits of service companies, focusing on contractor equipment and Company-owned equipment stored by service companies.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level or similar in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering, with direct experience in well servicing and completions in the oil industry.
  • Hold current certification in UK Offshore Survival, MIST, and a current OGUK Medical Certificate.
