Ecommerce Marketing Executive

MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading consumer electronics distributor to find a skilled Ecommerce Marketing Executive. This is a permanent role based in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

As an Ecommerce Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of branded websites. Your focus will be on search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, general web management, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
  • Ensure the website is user-friendly, with intuitive navigation and a clean, responsive design.
  • Conduct regular usability testing and gather user feedback to make data-driven improvements to the website.
  • Oversee the execution of monthly acquisition plans, including PPC, affiliate, and email marketing activities for the branded websites.
  • Manage content for new product launches to the required level.
  • Work with the Head of Direct E-Commerce to develop monthly sales and content activity plans for a portfolio of branded websites.
  • Execute monthly plans, including product promotional activity and content activity for the branded websites.
  • Collaborate with in-house teams and external agencies to develop monthly acquisition plans for the portfolio of branded websites.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing transactional websites using platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and ShopBlocks.
  • Consumer goods experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with PPC, social media, and affiliate marketing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and other analytical tools.
  • Content creation skills using tools like Canva and Adobe.
  • Ability to manage budgets and achieve sales targets under pressure.
