Position Overview
As a Senior Clinical Nurse Practitioner with HUC, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and determining appropriate management or referrals. We seek a dedicated, reliable, and passionate professional committed to providing exceptional care. This role is ideal for an independent clinician who has completed a master's degree in advanced clinical practice (or equivalent) and possesses additional qualifications in minor illness and advanced clinical assessment. This is a remarkable opportunity to positively impact patients in need of urgent care during Out of Hours periods.
HUC operates an Integrated Urgent Care service across various regions, delivering the 111 service, Clinical Assessment Service, and Out of Hours GP service.
Key Responsibilities
Telephone Consultations - Offer expert medical guidance and triage via phone as part of our Integrated Urgent Care Clinical Assessment Service, either remotely or from designated contact centers.
In-Person Consultations - Conduct face-to-face consultations at Out of Hours Treatment Centers.
Home Visits - Provide consultations for patients in their homes who are unable to visit an Out of Hours Treatment Center.
Collaborative Care - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioners, Urgent Care Practitioners, and Prescribing Pharmacists, both remotely and in person.

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
- NMC Registered adult/dual trained Nurse.
- Experience in Emergency Departments, Urgent Treatment Centers, GP Practices, or Out of Hours services.
- Proficiency in triage and streaming.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse patient populations requiring triage assessment and treatment (minimum of 1 year).
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent credentialing.
