About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Sous Chef to join our team at Park House Hotel & Spa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service and food presentation in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen sections, maintain cleanliness, and oversee stock levels.
  • Supervise the kitchen team daily and support the Head Chef and colleagues as needed.
  • Ensure hygiene standards are consistently upheld and enforce health and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and order stock, discussing new lines and updates with the General Manager.
  • Conduct monthly food stocktakes and meet budgeted costs, investigating discrepancies.
  • Stay informed about menus and allergens, liaising with Front of House.
  • Manage team training and development files, providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Contribute to menu development and creativity.
