Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Precision TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all TIG welding projects are completed in conformance with specifications and set time scales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all TIG welding projects are completed in conformance with specifications and set time scales.
  • Fabricate and weld components and sub-assemblies as required in line with planned manufacturing operations to defined quality standards and timescales.
  • Complete projects in accordance with planned schedules, aligning fabrication and welding workload with machine shop operations.
  • Perform quality control evaluations and set up and running of leak checking operations using mass spectrometry equipment.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in TIG welding.
  • Knowledge or experience of welding and fabrication processes.
  • Qualified to BTech/HNC/HND level in a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing discipline.
  • Established skillset in metal fabrication and welding, including the use of precision measuring equipment.
  • Able to read specified drawings.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines set by lead technician.
  • Basic knowledge of turning would be an advantage.
