We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Coordinator to join our client's Procurement Team at The Recruitment Group Careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure goods, materials, and services to meet the company's operational needs, considering factors such as price, quality, and delivery.
  • Ensure continuity of supply and achieve best value for the company.
  • Work closely with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms.
  • Contribute to business improvements by identifying opportunities to reduce costs and add value.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data and inform purchasing decisions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a procurement team.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing and commercial principles.
  • Familiarity with SAP and ability to work with the system.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer:

  • A part-time role with 18 hours of work per week, with flexible days and hours.
  • Hybrid working arrangement after the initial training period.
