About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Lecturer in Law to join Leicester Law School. This role will involve contributing to the undergraduate teaching of LLB programmes, with the possibility of involvement in specialist modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on teaching and be able to deliver high-quality learning experiences for students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering research-led teaching, designing innovative programmes, and ensuring a high-quality learning experience for students. They will also be expected to engage actively in student feedback processes and provide ongoing support through personal tutoring, placement assistance, and employability initiatives.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in Law or a closely related discipline, alongside a proven track record of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to developing scholarship in legal education, demonstrated through publications or conference presentations. They will also have excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills, an ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a passion for student support and development.
