About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cinematic Artist to join our team at Rockstar Dundee. As a key member of our Cinematic Media team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual content for our games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop unique scenes within our in-game environment, utilizing your creativity and technical skills to bring our vision to life.
  • Capture engaging visuals in both video and image formats, showcasing your expertise in storytelling and visual composition.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality content, working closely with the Cinematic Media team from storyboard to asset delivery.
  • Support various projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Be involved in storyboarding and idea/concept discussions, contributing your expertise to shape the creative direction of our projects.
Requirements
  • Experience creating visual content in digital or standard media, backed by a strong portfolio or showreel.
  • An enthusiasm for and extensive knowledge of movies, TV pop culture, and music videos.
  • Deep interest in in-game artistic direction and a thorough understanding of Rockstar's games.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in editing software such as AVID, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, or DaVinci.
  • Game engine experience, such as Unreal or Unity, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills
  • General knowledge of how game animation works.
  • Awareness of a major animation package, such as Maya or MotionBuilder.
  • Video editing of captured content.
