Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Testing Manager to join our team at Northampton Business Directory. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to meet contractual requirements and customer expectations.
  • Lead a team of Integration Test engineers to ensure the successful execution of testing activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Design and develop testing scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of integrated solutions.
  • Conduct Supplier Quality Checks, Supplier Factory Acceptance Tests, and other testing activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Work with customers to execute contractual tests and ensure items raised relating to testing are closed off.
  • Manage the Integration Test engineers as their direct line manager, ensuring they are motivated, safe, and developed accordingly.
Requirements
  • Graduate-level education in a technical discipline (Engineering, Software, Quality Management, Compliance).
  • Proven experience in automation testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a project matrix-based organization.
  • Detail-focused and quality-driven.
Competencies
  • Organized and able to prioritize and make balanced decisions.
  • Self-motivated and requiring little direct supervision.
