About the Role

TSR Legal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join its Litigation Department. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the department's growth and development, managing a varied caseload under supervision, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality legal services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist on a range of litigation files, including personal injury, contentious probate, landlord and tenant disputes, property matters, and debt collection
  • Attend meetings and liaise with Counsel to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Prepare for mediation, hearings, and trials, ensuring thorough research and accurate documentation
  • Draft witness statements and prepare documents, utilizing strong writing and analytical skills
  • Undertake research and investigations to support the litigation process
  • Time-record accurately in line with company policies, ensuring efficient use of time
  • Liaise with clients in person and by telephone, providing exceptional customer service
  • Carry out filing and administrative tasks as needed, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar litigation role, with a strong understanding of commercial litigation principles
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, with a solid foundation in law and litigation
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with case management software, to efficiently manage and track cases
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A team-oriented approach, with flexibility and initiative to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with compliance standards, including Lexcel, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Ability to undertake research and produce accurate, well-organized work, with a high level of attention to detail
