We are seeking to appoint a Salaried General Practitioner for a total of 6 sessions to enhance our dedicated team.

Our practice is a well-established partnership comprising five members, all of whom have previously held salaried positions. The remuneration is set at £10.5K per session, with MDDUS indemnity coverage provided. The contract will adhere to the BMA model contract standards.

Appointments are structured with 15-minute face-to-face consultations and 10-minute telephone appointments.

We maintain low home visit numbers thanks to our exceptional practice-employed Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs).

Our Duty Doctor system ensures that you are supported by another GP buddy and ANP assistance, with no late visits required.

We have minimized Docman tasks due to our proficient administrative staff trained in workflow optimization.

Our practice offers access to an in-house Community Link Worker, along with a Mental Health Liaison Nurse and Occupational Therapist.

We have fixed limits on acute prescriptions due to our in-house pharmacy support.

A daily team coffee break is scheduled after morning surgeries to foster team bonding.

We are eager to re-establish our in-house PBSGL team, with appraisal processes well managed.

Our facility provides in-house joint injections administered by Dr. Howie.

We encourage special interests and currently have opportunities to train both medical students and trainee ANPs, should you wish to participate.

Our practice covers three well-managed nursing homes, with opportunities available for involvement if desired. Additionally, there are chances to engage in 6-week baby check clinics.

  • 1 Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW)

Our enthusiastic practice manager, assistant practice manager, and dynamic reception team contribute to a supportive environment.

We understand the pressures of General Practice and strive to organize social events, subject to pandemic guidelines. Our practice covers the costs for Christmas celebrations, and we enjoy various social gatherings such as birthday parties, bridal showers, and jubilee celebrations. Recent events like axe hurling have proven to be both enjoyable and therapeutic.
